Critical Mention Delivers Real-Time Broadcast Content to dna13 Platform

Advanced integration and revolutionary "unlimited clipping" business model gives corporations real-time perspective into their brand and reputation

SAN FRANCISCO – April 7, 2008 - dna13, a leading provider of brand and reputation management solutions, and Critical Mention, the leader in global broadcast intelligence solutions, today announced a partnership that provides a seamless integration of Critical Mention's television and radio content into dna13's Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions for monitoring, managing and measuring a corporations' brand and reputation. Critical Mention's television and radio content is immediately available to both dnaEnterprise and dnaMonitor customers. The integration is a strategic component of dna13's SaaS platform that enables users to monitor, manage and measure TV, radio, print, internet news and blog coverage in a single dashboard. Users will be able to perform unlimited ad-hoc queries, view close caption text and its associated video in real-time as well as save clips for future reference without any per-clip fees. The advanced integration showcases Critical Mention's most flexible delivery option available to partners.

Through the partnership, the dna13 platform communicates directly with Critical Mention's databases through a secure Application Program Interface, or API. This empowers dna13 users with total control over the set up of real- time email alerts and the ability to conduct ad hoc queries on any topic, from breaking news to competitive intelligence, 24x7. A single query can span all media supported by dna13 solutions including TV, radio, print, web and blogs. Additionally, Critical Mention's broadcast results are available within dna13's measurement and analysis modules and for inclusion into reports for immediate dissemination and collaboration with stakeholders.

"We deliver our global broadcast content into a variety of partner applications but this is the most comprehensive integration in the PR space to date", said Doug DeSimone, Sr. Vice President for Critical Mention. "XML feeds, which are based on static search expressions, are very efficient for delivering content into third- party applications, but utilizing our API allowed their developers to embed a broader spectrum of search and alert engine functionality into the dna13 application".

"dna13 clients expect best of breed content across all media types to effectively monitor brand and reputation in near-real- time," said Andrew Koeck, VP Partnerships & Alliances. "The pay- per-clip model simply doesn't meet the needs of today's organizations who must filter through huge amounts of content every day. Critical Mention topped our list due to the breadth of real- time markets, video quality and flexible integration capabilities.

The broadcast offering is available immediately to dna13 clients as an add-on subscription module. As a Software-as-a-Service offering, dna13 solutions feature rapid deployment and no requirement to support additional hardware infrastructure. Currently, Critical Mention captures and indexes over 600 channels of real-time television and radio content 24x7 from its global broadcast capture infrastructure and the video archive includes over 75 terabytes of on-demand video.
